The matter of West Albury woman Elise Cheadle has gone before Albury Local Court registrar Wendy Howard.

Solicitor Mark Cronin, on the behalf of defence lawyer Angus Lingham, entered a plea of guilty for Cheadle, 37, who was not present in court.

But Mr Cronin asked that her case be put over to December 13, to allow for the gathering of further material relevant to sentencing, on the charge of unlawfully participate in an outdoor gathering in a stay-at-home area.

The court was told, in information provided by police, that Cheadle was one of up to 20 people who attended the rally on August 31.

In early November, Glenroy man Anthony James Spicer, 52, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a direction under the NSW Public Health Act related to COVID-19 and to unlawfully take part in an outdoor gathering in a stay-at-home area.

He was placed on a conditional release order.

Meanwhile, another adjournment has been granted in a case where a former Mulwala Water Ski Club employee charged with deception offences.

Director of Public Prosecutions representative Mary-Beth McFarlane has told the Local Court that the charges involving former financial worker Kaye Leanne Ferguson would need to be put over to December 21.

Ms McFarlane said it was anticipated that Ferguson, who is facing multiple charges related to $1.1 million, could be committed on that date for sentence before the District Court in Albury.
