Concerns were raised last month when no nominations were put forward for the board of management at the club's annual general meeting, which was reconvened to Thursday night.
Former chairman Ken Barnes advised members the club could not operate without a board and would be closed if not resolved.
However, a steady flow of nominations were put forward ahead of the follow up meeting as board member Graham Searle took the step as chairperson.
Louise Farrar was voted administrator, David Sully took over as director of greens and infrastructure, Ashley Bates was appointed head of bowls, while David Nichol joined as a director.
John Evans remained treasurer, while Mr Barnes stayed on in a director's role.
"I've never seen a sporting club have so many volunteers, but basically none of them have had board experience," Mr Searle said.
"That was worrying a few of them, but I think after discussing it and getting two or three new ones on there's a real enthusiasm.
"We've had a difficult 18 months but we can look forward to getting people back into barefoot bowls and business bowls and that in itself generates good income for the club.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"The club has done really well financially in the last 18 months and membership is strong."
Mr Searle said a major step was taken with a succession plan in place to ensure roles are filled into the future.
Outgoing board member Noel Murrell believed people were initially hesitant to put their hands up given the impacts of COVID in the past two years.
"People are just a bit lethargic that's all," he said.
"The nominations were put up on the board throughout the week. They had to be nominated from the floor at the meeting, but at least we had an idea who was interested in the vacancies.
"The club is probably in the best position it's been in a long time and we just didn't want to see it go backwards."
