But she wasn't the only border name making the list of annual Community Award winners, with Albury taking out Association of the Year.
House progressed into coaching roles when she was 17.
Now 22, she credits her mum and mentor Jodie for inspiring her.
"Winning the award isn't something that I thought would ever happen, but it's nice to be recognised," she said.
ALSO IN SPORT:
"I was very blessed growing up with good coaches, and mum is someone that stands out particularly to me as a great mentor."
House will lead Raiders' under-17s again next season.
"A few of the girls I coached when they were 12 are now playing in the team. It's really cool to see how far they've come and how much they've developed," she said.
Albury Netball Association was recognised for its work mentoring both players and umpires.
