Yarrawonga posted its first win in Ovens and Murray Bowls A1 pennant on Saturday.
In the battle of the two winless teams, the visitors posted a 92-60 win over Kiewa.
"We were coming off a couple of pretty heavy defeats, so we needed to re-establish ourselves and right across the 16 players they all bowled pretty well," club president Bert Tait offered.
Yarrawonga won three of the four rinks with skip Ian Woods and lead Shane Maddox in fine form in the 12-shot win.
Skip Neil Hocking's team played well in the second rink, but Kiewa's Rob Bartel played a critical role in the home team's only rink win, 19-17.
But Steven Day and John Ellis rounded out the win with strong performances with a 24-16 win in the final rink.
Elsewhere, Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort toppled Benalla 108-60, Wodonga proved too strong for Rutherglen 82-66, while Wangaratta defeated Corowa RSL 115-60.
