The Victorian style home at 559 Wyse Street sold for $1.28 million on Saturday after heated and quick bidding from three interested parties
In total, 38 bids were entered for the property which ended up selling to the opening bidder.

Agent Brian Phegan of Brian Phegan Real Estate said the home had been renovated completely in 2000 and was perfect for downsizers.
He said the Albury-Wodonga market was no longer a local market, but was now, in part due to digital technology, a national market where purchasers can buy from anywhere.
He said the Border market was going from strength to strength.
A crowd of more than 50 people attended the sale of the home.
The property last sold in June 2015 for $550,000.
Saturday's sale represents a 133 per cent increase in value in six years.
A four-bedroom mud brick home in Yackandandah sold for well over a million dollars at auction on Saturday.
Agent Nicholas Clarke of Stean Nicholls said the exact price of 421 Twist Creek Road could not be disclosed but it sold above expectations.
During marketing the property was quoted with a price of $1.7 million to $1.8 million.
3 The Fell in Thurgoona, also offered by Stean Nicholls, sold shortly after auction for $640,000. While a rural property at 499 Culcairn Holbrook Road, Holbrook, sold prior to auction on Friday for an undisclosed amount.
Agent Andrew Kane of Kane Real Estate said it was an excellent result for all parties involved.
The lifestyle property set on 7.01 hectares was bought by Border locals.
It last sold in 2018 for $620,000.
Also on Friday, lot three in the 557 Dights Forest Road, Table Top subdivision sold under the hammer for $815,000. Lot three was the largest parcel of land covering 13.19 hectares.
The other four lots were passed in at auction by agent Lachlan Hutchins of Stean Nicholls said offers had been made on two of the parcels of land.
On Friday night PJ Murphy sold 4 Wondah Tallangatta under the hammer for $280,000.
It last sold in November 2019 for $140,000 - with Friday's results representing a doubling of the homes value in two years.
