Vice-chancellor Renee Leon said 95 per cent of staff indicated they were already vaccinated or intended to be, in an October survey, and the "overwhelming majority" showed a preference that everyone on our campuses be vaccinated.

"In 2022, Charles Sturt University will welcome back our staff, students and communities to our campuses," Professor Leon said.
"We want to ensure we are providing a safe environment as our people return."
Professor Leon said the university would follow government advice in relation to booster shots and other risk mitigation strategies.
La Trobe University's announced a mandatory vaccination policy for its Wodonga campus in September, to come into effect this month.
