The Border's longest-running farmers' market had to shift from its Gateway Village venue to Junction Square in Wodonga CBD last December after a border checkpoint was set up on Lincoln Causeway.
Albury Wodonga Farmers Market president Frank Verduci said the checkpoint had come out of left field last year amid the Sydney coronavirus cluster.
Mr Verduci said they only had hours to find an alternative venue for the festive market with help from Wodonga Council.
"Last year we had to relocate to Junction Square in Wodonga at the last minute," he said.
"This year we're on track to host a twilight market in Gateway Village on Thursday afternoon."
Albury Wodonga Farmers Market will host a twilight market on the Lincoln Causeway on Thursday from 3.30pm.
