Wodonga has recorded 78 new cases of COVID in the past 24 hours.
It comes as Alpine shire recorded 35 new cases, Indigo recorded 36, Wangaratta 61 new cases, and Towong six.
Albury recorded 186 new cases of COVID.
While 14 new cases have been recorded in Edward River, four in Federation, 15 in Greater Hume and three in Murray River.
PREVIOUSLY
Murrumbidgee Local Health District, which cover Albury, Wagga and the Riverina, recorded 658 new cases of COVID in the 24 hours to 8pm.
The breakdown of cases is not yet available.
Albury Wodonga Health has warned residents not to attend the emergency department for a COVID test.

"Our emergency departments are in high demand at the moment - please do not present to the ED seeking a PCR or RAT," the health service said.
"Please remember our staff are working under a lot of pressure at the moment and we would remind people to be respectful and kind."
Eleven people have died as NSW recorded more than 38,000 new COVID-19 cases in a single day.
NSW Health figures released on Friday morning showed that there were 38,625 new infections in the 24-hours to 8pm on Thursday - an increase from just under 35,000 the previous day.
