The match was worthy of a grand slam final so it was only fitting Sydney's Giselle Guillen earned a place at Wimbledon after her hard-fought victory in the national qualifying event at Albury grasscourts on Monday.

After a strong start against Gurmanat Sandhu in the decider, the number one seed had to dig deep in a match tiebreak to clinch the result 6-3, 6-7, 10-2.
Guillen hadn't experienced a match on the grass surface in more than two years, but found her best when she needed it and will represent Australia at the under-14 Wimbledon Championships in July.
"It's really exciting. I'm really looking forward to it and it will be a really good experience to play against international players," she said.
"It was really tough. The first set I played really well. I was being aggressive and going for my shots.
"But in the second set I started making errors and I was a bit more tentative, so my shots were going out.

"In the super tie-break I told myself I really had to turn it on and fight for it and I started playing my game and being aggressive again and staying patient at the same time.
"I guess it worked."
Like so many players on the Border for the event, it was Guillen's first time in Albury, but she said the courts suited her style of game.
"The bounce was pretty low so I had to try use my legs more to push up and get the ball over," she said.
"I liked it because you could play the slice and drop shots. Variation is a big part of my game.
"I've done a bit of training on grass courts, but it's been two years since I played a tournament on grass in Perth for the Bruce Cup."
Meanwhile, the open singles titles will be decided on Tuesday after four high-quality semi-finals.
Fifth seed Brendon Lee Moore will take on number seven Nick De Vivo after both recorded straight sets victories.
Moore continued on with the form that saw him dispose of tournament favourite Patrick Fitzgerald on Sunday with a 6-3, 6-3 salute against Aaron Osmond, while De Vivo overcame fourth seed Jack Swindells 6-2, 6-3.
In the open women's, Bridget Mihulka upset top seed Laquisa Khan 6-4, 6-1, to reach the decider.
If she's to capture the title, she'll have to get past second seed Indiya McLeod, who had all the answers for Kellie Stares in their semi-final showdown to win 6-3, 6-2.
