Police are investigating a spate of incidents that have damaged buildings in Tallangatta and left the community out of pocket.

The town's tennis club was targeted four times from November 18 to December 5 last year.
The Towong Shire offices and secondary college were also damaged, with items including rocks and timber used to break windows.
A shade sail was also damaged at the school.
Sergeant Tim Mooney said the incidents could be connected.

"We're just seeking information from the public that could help to identify the offenders," he said.
"It's into the thousands of dollars in damage now, it's significant.
"The damage caused has to be fixed by hard working community members.
"It hurts them financially."
