Jamie Leigh Evans was placed on a corrections order in 2019, which he breached by shooting at multiple Wodonga homes in September 2020.
He was resentenced for the original offending in court on Tuesday.
Magistrate Peter Dunn noted Evans punched a woman he was living with in her nose "with severe force", causing her to black out.
The woman managed to get herself to hospital after Evans left her.
She suffered a broken nose and fractured eye socket.
In another incident, the bikie club member grabbed a pole, broke a door and hit a person from behind.
Police also caught him driving while on ice while in possession of a pen pistol, Taser, knife and ammunition.
The Wodonga Magistrates Court heard Evans had had a relationship breakdown and returned to drugs before the incidents, and was also negatively influenced by members of the bikie club.
"He doesn't wish to return to that life in the future," lawyer Samuel Russo said.
Mr Russo said his client had been assessed for parole and was awaiting a release date.
IN OTHER NEWS:
He asked his client be placed on another community corrections order for the breach.
But the magistrate said the offending was too serious and that he should have engaged with the order in 2019.
"It was given to him and if he'd only embraced it, he might not be in the position he's in now with respect of the other matters," Mr Dunn said.
"In my view there's no eligible alternative but to sentence him to a term of imprisonment."
Mr Dunn imposed a nine month term but said six months would be served concurrently with his drive-by shooting term, in effect adding three months to his jail time.
He is in custody in Beechworth prison.
