A 6.2-magnitude earthquake has struck Indonesia's West Sumatra province, killing at least six people and injuring dozens, officials say.

Friday's quake damaged homes and other buildings, and triggered landslides, according to officials.
"Six people have been confirmed dead so far, three in Pasaman district and the three others in West Pasaman district," said Rumainur, a spokesman for the provincial civil protection agency.
More than 50 people were injured, 10 of them seriously, said Jasman Rijal, a spokesman for the provincial government.
Photos released by the provincial government showed collapsed homes and a school with its ceilings blown open.
The quake struck at 8:39am with the epicentre 17km northeast of West Pasaman, at a depth of 10km, according to the Meteorological, Geophysical and Climatological Agency.
