Starting at 10am, the popular Picnic in the Gardens kicks off with numerous activities throughout the day.
Roaming puppets Precious the emu and Claw the dinosaur will make an appearance and the Flash Twinkle Toes Silly Circus Show is set to amaze their audience.
Albury City events team leader Ros Walls said Precious and Claw from Melbourne performance group Polyglot were not to be missed.
“Precious is a very inquisitive emu who loves people and relishes the attention where ever she can find it and Claw is a cheeky dinosaur who is absolutely hilarious and loves to cause mayhem in any crowd,” Ms Walls said.
“We have also got Flash the Circus Clown performing an array of fun circus tricks including plate spinning, juggling, magic and more.”
Farmyard animals will wander the gardens while live jazz music, plant sales and a range of food stalls will also satisfy the crowd.
