More than 10,000 cacti feature at Jim and Julie Hall's Cactus Country.
What started as a hobby for Mr Hall in 1988 is now a full-time occupation as he develops what is Australia's biggest cacti garden, helped by his son, John.
"We have lots of varieties of cacti and they all do well in this country," Jim Hall said.
"People are fascinated by cacti and when they walk in here they are amazed."
Resembling a prehistoric garden, the towering cacti feature unique flowers, some of which last just a few hours and only bloom yearly or even once in a lifetime.
"I am attracted by the sculpture of cacti, some people think they are ugly but they have a wow factor," Mr Hall said.
Mr Hall said they can survive on virtually no water but appreciate "a drink".
The victim of many cacti prickles, Mr Hall was once impaled on a huge cacti after falling backwards.
"But I lived to tell the tale," he said.
Some of the species are 60 years old and have been given to the Halls.
