It is the club’s biggest meeting for the year and traditionally draws many people to watch the nine-race program and usher in the New Year.
Club president Jeff Hogan is looking forward to it with optimism.
“There are nine races with the first at 7pm and the last at 11pm,” he said.
But Mr Hogan said the club was pushing the family aspect of the meeting.
“They can come along and bring their picnic tea,” he said.
“A band will play between races and after the last race until midnight.
“A 20-minute fireworks display starts at midnight.”
Mr Hogan said free rides would be provided on a slippery slide and a jumping castle.
The gates open at 5pm.
