Each time, Crowther used either a stick or metal pole to break a window in the front door of the Caltex service station in Wagga Road and he left with iced coffees or a sweets cache.
Albury magistrate Gordon Lerve has been told there was one failed attempt to gain entry when Crowther was unable to break the window with a piece of baseball bat.
He took a pillow case on his fourth trip to the service station and filled it with 43 packets of lollies valued at more than $160.
But a security officer was nearby and managed to apprehend Crowther with police arriving soon after to arrest him.
His crime spree happened between October 19 and November 26 last year.
Crowther, 18, of Plover Street, appeared in Albury Local Court for sentence on three counts of break, enter and steal and one of attempted break, enter and steal.
Mr Lerve said Crowther had no previous convictions, but break, enter and steal offences committed on homes or business premises were serious.
Crowther was assessed suitable for a community service order, but Mr Lerve said that would be inadequate considering the multiple offending.
“You would be very vulnerable in jail,” Mr Lerve said when imposing 11-month suspended sentences.
“I have suspended the execution of these sentences.
“You commit any further offences in the next 11 months you go to Junee jail.”
Each time Crowther went to the service station he covered his face with clothing, but his actions were caught on closed circuit footage.
His first offence was about 2.35am on October 19 when he stole six iced coffee drinks.
He made an unsuccessful attempt to break in on October 25, but returned on November 16 and took more iced coffees.
The sweets haul was his final offence about 3.25am on November 26 with the damage bill caused by his break-ins amounting to $1540.
Mr Lerve ordered Crowther to have Probation and Parole Service supervision and to pay compensation.
