Led by ruckman Evan Fealy, the Crows broke clear in the third quarter with the class of Cameron Bakes, Ben Slattery and Jason Sanderson proving the difference between the teams.
It was the Crows’ 10th win of the season and, although finals remain a longshot with the bye and Coleambally ahead, coach Danny Kirchen was delighted to reverse last year’s grand final result.
CDHBU paid dearly for relying on key duo Jarrod Hanrahan and Doug Lavis, while the Crows had a more even spread of contributors across the lines.

Holbrook scored a hard-fought 19-point win against Walla at Holbrook.
The Brookers battled to put away their opponents for three quarters before Jon Thompson, Brendan Hankle and Aaron Pitson steadied the ship and saw the home team out of trouble.
Walla’s Nick Whiterod, Brad Watkins and Luke Kohlhagen turned in strong performances.
