Briers defeated Judy Langford (4-3) and Sienna Lambert (1-up) in yesterday’s quarter and semi-finals to set up a tussle with state squad player Sue Wooster in today’s decider.

“She has been a member of the state side for two years.”
Briers hasn’t played in the championships for over a decade, but qualified for the quarter-finals in second position after shooting a 79 on Wednesday.
Today’s final starts at 9am.
