The irrepressible Hoodoos will perform their biggest hits at Bullers’ Rutherglen winery in an event that attracts hundreds of wine and music lovers.
Iconic hits such as What’s My Scene, Bittersweet, 1000 Miles Away, Like Wow Wipeout, My Girl, Miss Freelove, Come Anytime, I Want You Back and The Right Time are the songs that have made the Hoodoos the quintessential Aussie garage band.
Formed in Sydney in 1981, the Hoodoo Gurus’ fame peaked in the mid-to-late 1980s.
They continued to tour and record until the band split up in 1998.
They re-formed in 2004 and were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007.
The Hoodoos are not alone in the big line up for Easter at Bullers.
All-girl rock act Stonefield will be back by popular demand to perform Through the Clover, new single Ruby Skies and their version of Led Zeppelin’s Gotta Whole Lotta Love.
Boom Crash Opera lead singer Dale Ryder and his band Red Ink will join the line-up.
Organisers will announce next week the final act to complete the five-band line-up fest.
Early bird tickets at $79.90 are on sale at Ticketmaster from 9am on Monday, November 26 by phone, internet and outlet; or from Bullers Winery on (02) 6032 9660.
