IT seems it wouldn’t be a Deni Ute Muster if a few records weren’t broken.

Once again the muster has been an outstanding success, attracting more than 20,000 people.
First there was a new world record for the annual blue singlet count.
In fact the record was smashed, with the weekend’s tally of just under 4000 easily breaking the total from 2010 of 3500.
Added to that was a new record for the number of utes, the 9376 vehicles on site eclipsing the old mark again of 2010.
While the growing popularity of the muster is obvious, the spirit of the event has again helped make it such a winner.
Put simply, everyone was clearly having a great time.
And the large number of families who turned out showed the muster has something for everyone.
Clearly the organisers know what they are doing and have put in a lot of hard work to make Deniliquin an absolute must on people’s calendar each year.
Deni Ute Muster general manager Kathie Heyman quite rightly tells of how much of an honour it is to have so many families return each year “to the plains”.
What an outstanding result for the muster’s 15th anniversary.
