TEAM Wurtz had the first four sets in the bag by mid-morning in their section 1 match against Team Bulle in Tuesday ladies action yesterday, going onto triumph 5 sets to 1.

Leasa Brown and Brenda Roberts were solid for the winners while Sally Bulle and Wendy Milliken claimed the fifth set for their team.
The second set saw Team Rouvray easily account for an under-strength Spencer side.
The closest match in section 2 saw McNeil with a slender four-game advantage over Staughton.
Marg Jacobs contributed well for McNeil while Denise Sheil finished unbeaten for Staughton.
Van Der Vliet started slowly but finished strongly to take the points against Van De Stadt, 4 sets 33 games to 2 sets 23 games. Angela Quirk was unbeaten for the winners while Ros Frawley was a two set winner for her side.
Fletcher claimed the final two rubbers and the match against Dihood in section 3.
Sam Taggart was a standout for Fletcher while Kay Boughton played well for Dihood. Brawn and Dwerryhouse won one-sided encounters against Tanner and Passalaqua respectively.
Sutton, with Leigh Byrne, Louise McCulloch, Elizabeth Steirer and Fiona Sutton all contributing, defeated Parker comfortably.
