Police said a Wodonga boy, 13, was arrested and charged in relation to the fire.
He was bailed to appear at the Children’s Court at a later date.
Another teenager was arrested and was helping police with inquiries.
Damage worth several thousand dollars was caused to the playground off Barton Street and Felltimber Creek Road by a fire about 11.30pm on Saturday night and a slide was destroyed.
