Update 11am: AN Albury man attacked in Mate Street last night was hit with a coffee mug, police said.

Police said three men were at a Mate Street unit when a fight ensued between a man, 31, and another man, 19, between 5pm and 5.30pm yesterday.
The 31-year-old was hit with a coffee mug across his face, head and chest.
Police said the two men fled the scene and emergency services were called a short time later.
The injured man was taken to Albury hospital and he was released this morning with stitches from cuts to his head and torso.
Investigations are continuing.
