The 90-minute game played in thirds at Gosch’s Paddock will see scouts from Melbourne Victory cast their eye over the standard of players.
Yesterday all-stars coach Peter Hovar said they would take an 18-girl squad to Melbourne.
“We’ll have the strongest squad available — fit and ready for the game,” he said.
“We are under no illusion, the opposition plays in the highest league available after the W-League and will all be looking to impress and take the next step up the ladder.
“But we have more than our fair share of talent.
“These are the girls who are the stars of the AWFA competition and those who have been playing Premier League and come back to the Border for this game.”
The winning team will be presented its trophy during the half-time break in the Victory-Brisbane Roar encounter.
