THE whipping boys of the competition have had their revenge with Oaklands registering its first win on Saturday.

The loss has put a dent in Walla’s finals chances, despite fourth-placed Brocklesby’s loss to Rand.
Rand was far too strong, with talented all-rounder Will Swift blasting a superb 92 in the Pigeons 5/223.
Ryan Kirkwood (73) shared a 144-run stand for the second wicket.
The association’s top runscorer Mitch Koschitzke (36) playing a lone hand in Brocklesby’s chase of 88 as Kirkwood took 3/8.
Top team Balldale racked up 7/234 off its 35 overs in an easy win over Burrumbuttock.
Matt Ross (52), Doug Lavis (42) and Ashley Middleton (39no) led the way, while David Williams took 4/30 for the Swans.
In reply Burrumbuttock struggled to 9/141 with veteran duo Glen Eddy (37) and Greg Tallent (22) the best performers.
