The former Wangaratta Rovers player put on a show in front of family and friends at Norm Minns Oval, kicking 5.0 and taking a number of strong contested marks in his first hitout for the year.
Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley was impressed.
“Reidy did his job well,” he said.
“It was his first game back. He’s had a really strong pre-season but missed the last couple of weeks, so we’re trying to give him some stability.
"We want to give him the opportunity to come in and play the one role, rather than flick him around too much early days.
"He was strong, especially in the first half, and took some really strong contested marks and was able to finish off.”
