Gavin Paterson says the Felltimber Community Centre’s grandparents playgroup is a great way to spend precious time with his one-year-old grandson Arthur Huzzey.
“It’s a chance to see a grandchild interact and rewarding to see them learn how to share,” he said.
Helen Finemore said she appreciates the chance to paint and draw with one-year-old Keyver Finemore.
Wodonga Council’s Debbie Mackinlay said with more oldies minding tots, the group was a good chance for them to socialise with other grandparents and offer support and be given some themselves.
The group is held at the centre fortnightly on Wednesday mornings.
