The 14-year-old Albury-Wodonga rider, pictured, is revved-up to defend the two state titles that she won at Broadford last October.
“I still remember my bike blowing up on Saturday and the heavy rain on Sunday. It was a pretty exciting event,” Ross said.
“I finished third in the 13 to under-16 125cc boys class.
“I can’t wait to go up against the boys again.
“I’ve been training hard and I have a few more sponsors on board this year so it’ll be good.”
The Australian junior 13 to under-16 standard wheel 85/150cc champion is also the current Victorian 13 to under-16 250cc girls class champion and the 11 to under-16 85cc girls class champ-ion.
“I haven’t raced at Mildura before but I hear it’s a great track,” Ross said.
Ross qualified for the Troy Bayliss Classic in January.
“I got sixth place on my 250cc and a fifth-place on my 85cc,” she said.
She competed in the Kings and Queens in Canberra a fortnight ago, finishing fourth on her 250cc and in fifth place on her 125cc.
