The former Gold Coast and Hawthorn player, who was a guest at the season launch of Yarrawonga’s fierce rival Albury yesterday, said Fevola had inquired about his availability this year after he was sacked by the Suns following an off-season altercation with teammate Steven May.
But it never gained any serious momentum.
“Fev did get a hold of me and wanted me to play some games, which would have been fun, but I couldn’t really commit at that stage,” Brown told The Border Mail yesterday.
“I didn’t know what my program with work would be.
“It never really got off the ground.”
