Henty, Culcairn want final spot

HENTY and Culcairn will be fighting for a spot in the Hume Tennis Association grand final when they clash in Saturday’s preliminary final at Culcairn.

The Swampies showed ominous form in ending Bungowannah’s season with a 23-game win last weekend while the Lions went down to Jindera by 27 games.

Simon Male is expected to return for Henty after missing last weekend with a groin injury.

Megan Eulenstein and Lara Stoll will lead the way for the Swampies’ women.

Culcairn will look to Tony Strauss, Nathaniel Stroh and Christine Schulz to play well.

In section two, Howlong will now meet Table Top Yonex and Burrumbuttock takes on Culcairn.

Burrumbuttock plays Bungowannah Possums and Walbundrie will play Culcairn in section three.

Jindera Roos will face Bungowannah in section four, Howlong meets Henty in section five and Jindera plays Walla-North Walla in section six.
