She made her dramatic entrance in a towering black Kenworth prime mover — minutes after her husband-to be, Michael, had arrived in a white truck.
The new Mrs Amarant (nee Franks), who works at Hairhouse Warehouse, said she had been resigned to the idea of a grand entrance when the idea was put to her.
“They’re farm boys, so they’ve always been obsessed with trucks and big machines,” she said.
“It was either going to be trucks or a tractor.”
Mr Amarant, who works at Malibu Boats, said he wanted trucks as bridal cars because he and his brother drove them.
Mrs Amarant said the drive to the church had been a thrill.
“Heaps of people were really excited and waving at us,” she said.
“There were lots of horns.”
The couple, who met eight years ago through their mothers, were married in front of about 70 guests on Saturday.
They celebrated their reception at The Albury Club.
