NATHAN McKendrick is free to play in Barnawartha’s grand final rematch with Mitta United today after being released by Wodonga.
The defender, who joined the Bulldogs on the eve of the season, was cleared back to the Tallangatta and District league club on Thursday night after coming to terms with the Bulldogs.
It’s massive inclusion for the Tigers as they prepare to take on the Mountain Men for the first time since last year’s decider.
McKendrick starred for Barnawartha last season and played a key role in delivering them the premiership.
He last played for Wodonga on Anzac Day, managing just three games in his Ovens and Murray return.
