Pigeons co-coach Chris Kennedy said he was no certainty to be fit for the grand final rematch a week later.
“It could be a couple of weeks, we don’t really know yet,” Kennedy said. “It’s been troubling him for a while.”
The Pigeons should be breathing fire after last week’s shock loss to Lavington and take on a struggling Raiders’ side that was dealt a handful of added blows at the tribunal during the week.
They lost Dean Giles and Nick Shelley to suspension.
Giles, a likely match-up for Brendan Fevola, was rubbed out for one-match by the tribunal for striking.
Shelley accepted a week for a similar offence.
