YARRAWONGA star Tim Cooper is in serious doubt for next week’s blockbuster against Albury.
The underrated midfielder, pictured, will miss today’s clash with Wodonga Raiders because of back soreness.
Pigeons co-coach Chris Kennedy said he was no certainty to be fit for the grand final rematch a week later.
“It could be a couple of weeks, we don’t really know yet,” Kennedy said. “It’s been troubling him for a while.”
The Pigeons should be breathing fire after last week’s shock loss to Lavington and take on a struggling Raiders’ side that was dealt a handful of added blows at the tribunal during the week.
They lost Dean Giles and Nick Shelley to suspension.
Giles, a likely match-up for Brendan Fevola, was rubbed out for one-match by the tribunal for striking.
Shelley accepted a week for a similar offence.
