The Raiders, who suffered a shock 69-point loss at the hands of Myrtleford last week, host Corowa-Rutherglen at Birallee Park today.
Klemke said having former Collingwood and Fremantle star Tarrant in the team this afternoon would give younger players a lift after a tough run.
The Raiders haven’t won since overrunning Wodonga on Anzac Day.
“Hopefully it does,” Klemke said.
“Obviously the boys have been a bit down on confidence recently.
“We’re expecting them to come out all guns blazing.”
Klemke wasn’t revealing where Tarrant would start.
He has been named at centre half-back.
“He was a terrific defender when he was at Freo and obviously we all know what he can do up forward,” Klemke said.
“We’ve got a few options, so we’ll have to wait and see.”
Meanwhile, Corowa-Rutherglen will today regain key defender Mick Collins for the first time since round 6.
