Kotzur will be responsible for the manufacture of the main grain storage and handling component of the Port Kembla terminal.
Winning the contract means the company will make a further investment in its own business, including buying more equipment and additional factory space.
Not only will the contract be a win for Kotzur but the company will be able to offer additional work to its local suppliers, sub-contract fabricators and transport companies.
Kotzur expects up to 15 new staff will be employed in manufacturing, administration, engineering and project management roles, a 20 per cent increase in its workforce.
The company will also provide engineering and design assistance with the concrete and civil works, and the railway intake and conveying system.
Kotzur can rightly be proud of its role as a manufacturer and employer of growing importance in the Border region.
