A 21-day investigation has been initiated, with AFL Victoria Country to appoint an independent investigator who will gather evidence for any potential tribunal charges.
In a statement, the league’s executive said it was committed to ensuring the league, its member clubs, players and supporters conducted themselves in a manner which fosters continued involvement in the game and promotes healthy club environments.
