Independent member for Indi Cathy McGowan urged people to not delay their application.

There is also federal government funding of up to $2880 for retrenched textile, clothing and footwear workers for costs associated with training or looking for work.
Retrenched workers must register with Job Services Australia Providers within six months of being made redundant.
Murray Valley MP Tim McCurdy confirmed with the office of the Minister for Manufacturing, David Hodgett, that the Victorian government could provide assistance, with workers being offered places in the Workers in Transition and Business in Transition Support programs.
Ms McGowan said it was important the federal, state and local government agencies worked together to support the families.
Ms McGowan will work with cross-benchers to get the Building Innovation Capability Scheme changes rejected in the Senate.
