HAVING travelled about 25,000 kilometres around Australia this year, I have seen many cities and towns and tend to compare them to home and find it coming up short.
Towns with lovely city centres, parks, playgrounds, showgrounds and more.
What does Albury have? — a pitiful showground, a bit of grass in the city centre and nothing that would attract anyone to stop in this town.
What about a nice showground, a family friendly city centre with play areas for kids, a park by the river that would attract tourists?
But we will have a multimillion-dollar museum.
