The last interview given by comedian Robin Williams before he took his life last month will feature in a new documentary from America's public broadcaster, PBS.

Titled Robin Williams Remembered, it has been sold to SBS in Australia. The special will air on Sunday, October 5, at 10.15pm on SBS One.
The one-hour documentary includes Williams' last full-length television interview, in which he talks about his career in stand-up comedy and his desire to be a serious dramatic actor.
It also includes the only television interview granted after his death by his close friend and former Mork & Mindy co-star Pam Dawber, in which she talks about their long-standing friendship and the almost five years they worked together.
Actor Henry Winkler, who starred in Happy Days, the sitcom where the character of Mork from Ork was introduced, was also interviewed for the special, as well as Laverne & Shirley star (and now director) Penny Marshall, and comedians Whoopi Goldberg and Jimmie Walker.
Among the many clips featured in the special is one in which Williams was performing with Joan Rivers, another iconic comedian who has recently died.
The pair had worked briefly together on a failed revival of Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In.
"We were fortunate to sit down with Robin Williams," the documentary's executive producer Steve Boettcher said.
"We wanted to share with viewers the Robin that we saw ... the very unassuming, caring, genuine and gentle man who took his acting seriously, but was able to make others laugh.
"We hope this special provides more insight to this incredible man, in his own words."
The documentary has generated enormous interest from broadcasters around the globe, according to PBS.
PBS commissioned the special as part of its Pioneers of Television programming strand.
The one-hour special aired in the US this week.
