TECHNOLOGY will be at the forefront of discussion during the Henty Machinery Field Days, starting today.
Farm robots that are set to revolutionise the farming industry and a new HMFD phone app are among highlights of the popular three-day event.
An unmanned helicopter used for crop spraying and an intelligent android with a fondness for weed removal will be among the robotics featured.
More than 800 exhibitors and 60,000 visitors are expected over the three days.
Those attending today can view the Agri-Centre, which will be officially opened at 1.30pm.

In a first, two automatic teller machines will be available.
The field days co-operative has joined with Hume Bank to provide the facilities.
All the regular events have returned including the Machine of the Year Award that will take place today from 11am.
