Murray Now is hosting the Export Essentials events which will be held at Albury’s ANZ Business Centre on Wednesday.
Guest speakers from trading proponent Export61 will address various aspects of selling products and services into foreign markets with one session entitled Starting and Growing a Successful Export Business and the other How to Make your Website Sell Exports.
Murray Now director Nicole Doughty said the workshops aimed at all types of businesses, whether they were in the primary, secondary or tertiary sectors.
“In just a couple of hours you will gain practical advice and go away with a solid understanding of how to develop your own export plan,” Ms Doughty said.
“With the falling Australian dollar and the strengthening US economy, now is the perfect time to get started or reignite regional and rural export business and marketing plans.
“There are literally tens of thousands of international procurement agents and product buyers online 24x7 seriously searching for Australian produce, products and services right now.”
Export61, whose numerical title derives from Australia’s international telephone code, is an online enterprise designed to assist exporters.
Its managing director Joseph Zaritski and international business development executive director Peter Crawley will address the workshops in Albury.
Mr Zaritski formed Export61 in 1999 and also in 2002 formed Pro Internet marketing, an internet marketing agency.
Mr Crawley has a background in rural industry and business development having worked in economic development in the Murray Tri-State region.
Registrations for next week’s workshops are being accepted until tomorrow.
People wishing to attend the event can book their place by phoning (02) 6023 2606 or emailing team@murraynow.com.au.
