The former Corowa junior will tee up at the Hong Kong Open in a bid to test his fitness and form ahead of the Australian summer.
Fraser, 36, has missed most of the European season after a recurrence of a hand injury in February.
He suffered complications from tendonitis after the surgery, with his hand immobilised for three weeks at a time.
But Fraser said he was fit and hitting the ball well ahead of his comeback tournament.
“I’ve been practising hard for probably the past six or seven weeks and in the past fortnight played three days in a row to test out the injury,” he said.
“It is all systems go and the break has been good for some of those niggling injuries I had been carrying for some time.
“I’ve had three top 10s in Hong Kong and finished third not long ago, so it’s a course I like and it suits my game.”
Fraser, who was on the cusp of breaking into the world top 50 last year, will use Hong Kong and the Perth International as conditioning tournaments ahead of the Australian Masters and Open.
He has already booked a practice round at the Open with Wodonga’s rising amateur star Zach Murray, who will make his tournament debut at The Australian.
“You can hit as many practice balls as you like but it is when you face tournament golf the real test begins,” he said.
“I want to be peaking after missing most of the European Tour and get back to the form that almost had me in the (US) Masters.”
Fraser was taking the positives out of the injury lay-off.
“I had to pull out of Dubai in February and things got complicated from there,” he said.
“I’ve had injuries before that have cost me a week here or there but nothing like this.
“It has been great to be at home with the kids and in some ways switch off.
“The body feels great and hopefully that translates to low scores on the golf course.”
