Murray, 17, enjoyed a break out season in the Swampies midfield to edge out prolific ball winner Heath Ohlin.
Azzi medallist Jamarl O’Sullivan, Simon Hiller and co-coach Brent Piltz rounded out the top five.
Murray is on the recruiting radar of several Ovens and Murray clubs and is set to try out for the Murray Bushrangers next season.
The speedy midfielder also finished equal first in the Border Mail-WAW Footballer of the Year Award with Lockhart’s Zac Sheather.
Ohlin won the Swampies’ best and fairest in 2011.
The midfield maestro won the Des Kennedy Memorial medal for best on ground in the grand final.
Peter Flood won the reserves count from Matt Kilo and Warren Hamilton.
Annie Boyle was successful in the A-grade netball.
Shelley Richardson and Anna Takle took out the B and C-grade awards.
C-reserve was won by Fallan Doig.
