Irises, roses and natives will be among those competing for a championship trophy at the 19th annual Burrumbuttock Flower, Craft, Cooking and Photography Show.
Organiser Myrna Frohling said this year people could expect a bit of friendly rivalry between neighbours.
“People love to show off their talents for growing,” she said.
About 200 people are expected to turn out to see some 400 blossoms on show.
Youngsters are certainly not forgotten and are encouraged to show off their culinary skills in a junior master chef battle or enter a construction into the Lego competition.
Mrs Frohling said the show was an opportunity to pass on knowledge from one generation to another and some children will be whipping up recipes from a cookbook created 25 years ago.
The show will be held on Sunday between 10am and 4pm.
Entry is $5 for adults and proceeds will go to the hall’s upkeep.
