Rayah Estates Holdings has just received Indigo Shire's tick of approval for a $6.2 million expansion of Tuileries Rutherglen.
The approved building permit will allow the company to build six two-storey villas and 10 hotel-style units at Tuileries.
There are further plans for a $4.3 million conference/reception area that would include a day spa and tennis courts.
Rayah Estates Holdings has also purchased Rutherglen Estates and plans to significantly increase production at the vineyard.
Indigo mayor Bernard Gaffney said the investment would be a significant economic boost for the area.
"Work is set to commence early next year and this development will create another 25 jobs when the project is completed let alone the number employed during the construction stage," Cr Gaffney said.
"The company has made a substantial investment in Rutherglen and in the wine industry and this is a huge vote of confidence in this region."
