The 201-centimetre giant played with Hyde and Polo at Punt Road after being drafted in 2006 and will step straight into the shoes of departing Tiger big man Luke Wells.
“It will be good playing with Hydey and Polo again,” Graham said.
“‘Hydey’ gave me a call three weeks ago and I came for a look and decided Albury was the right fit.
“I’m a country boy from King Island so that swayed me a lot.
“I have only ever heard good things about the footy club and its culture.
“It should be good.”
Graham, 27, plans to relocate to the Border in January and looks set to play a huge role in Albury’s bid to win back-to-back premierships.
He will share the ruck duties with fellow 201-centimetre monster Aisake o’hAilpin.
Originally from Tasmania, Graham was rookie drafted by Richmond in 2006 and made his senior debut the following season before going on to play 47 matches with the AFL club.
He joined Adelaide in 2012 and spent two seasons with the Crows being cut at the end of last season.
Graham was named in Adelaide’s best players on five occasions in the SANFL this year.
Albury co-coach Chris Hyde said Graham would be an ideal replacement for Wells.
“Angus is a big unit and anyone with his experience is going to be really good in bringing along the young blokes,” Hyde said.
“We’re rapt to have him on board especially with Luke Wells leaving.”
Albury has been on a roller-coaster ride over the off-season with Graham, Jay Koehler, Alex Goodall, Ryan Hon and Elliott Powell signing and Lonnie Hampton, Matt Munro, Josh Robinson, Andy Carey, Tom Yates, Wells, Josh Maher, Toby Blissett and Josh Gaynor moving on.
The Tigers have appointed Mark Dicketts as their third grade coach.
Meanwhile, Wangaratta Rovers star Daniel Archer has told the Hawks he won’t be returning next season.
