For most of the Flying Fruit Fly Circus’ 24 students, some as young as nine, who performed What Do You See?, yesterday was the big day.
And, according to director Sebastien Pasche, “they absolutely loved it”.
“I wanted to make it a special show for them and educate them on the steps from the show’s conception to going on stage,” he said.
“They’ve run with it and made it into something that’s quite amazing.”
The Christmas show at the circus’ Hovell Street headquarters in Albury, tells the story of a boy who “doesn’t fit into a black-and-white world”.
“It’s showing everyone the world from his point of view, which is the circus,” Mr Pasche said.
There will be shows today at 1.30pm and 6.30pm and a 10.30am performance tomorrow.
Tickets are available at the Hovell Street headquarters.
