The ladder leader thumped Uranquinty by 162 runs last weekend, but Henty captain Chris Manns isn’t intimidated.
“They’re a good team but if we keep our concentration up and the pressure on, we’re certainly a chance for the win,” Manns said.
“We’ve got to tie them down and make sure none of their batsmen to get too comfortable.”
Manns’ squad is also in good form, after a strong win over The Rock-Yerong Creek last week.
“Some of our top-order batting has been solid — Mark White and Tim Piltz have been in good form so, hopefully, the rest of us can take a leaf out of their book and make some runs,” he said.
“Matt Manns and Daniel Terlich have been great with the ball — they’ve hit some good pace.
“Keeping the pressure on will be the key.
“Sometimes we can fade a bit in the middle of an innings. We can’t afford to do that in this game.”
It could be a fairly high-scoring affair, with the pitch looking quick, combined with the fast outfield and short boundaries of Henty Sportsground.
In other games this weekend, Uranquinty plays Osborne and The Rock-Yerong Creek faces off against Holbrook.
