A DRIVER who did a burnout in front of a marked police vehicle in Wodonga has had his car impounded after returning a positive test result for drugs.

The 26-year-old Albury man spun the rear wheels of his blue Holden Commodore while turning right into High Street from Wodonga Street yesterday.
Police witnessed the incident about 12.25pm and pulled the man over.
He was tested for alcohol and drugs, and returned a positive result for cannabis, with his car impounded for 30 days.
The results of a further drug test are pending, and the man must face Wodonga Magistrates Court at a later date.
