The Wodonga cancer survivor has seen her confidence grow after taking advantage of the latest technique in cosmetic tattooing on the Border.
“I had virtually no eyebrows and now they are thicker and darker,” Mrs Casey said.
“No one has commented on them because they look real.”
Cosmetic tattooist Sandy Siperki, who operates Brow Couture by Sandy, said the key behind the realistic results was the technique, using light feathered strokes to mimic brow hair.
“I have clients of all ages and can achieve a realistic look on anyone,” she said.
Miss Siperki has been a beauty therapist for 10 years and also offers waxing.
“I’ve found many women wanted a more natural and full brow look, but didn’t have many hairs to work with from years of over plucking and waxing,” she said.
“I like to work with a client’s hair and brow line to create the perfect brows.”
Miss Siperki also specialises in eyeliner, lip liner, beauty spot and areola tattooing.
“Women who have gone through mastectomy can come in and have their areolas and nipple restoration performed,” she said.
